Rob, you're optimism inspires me..
Must say 2042 has not had too much thought applied as yet..1977 was fun, so few restrictions and so much space to play with. 2017 is a far tougher nut to crack in so many ways, no home based warbirds for a start!! But, I intend this year to be far better, and far bigger.... stressing the "intend" bit!
.... BUT at the end of the day it could all hinge on the CAA
Thanks Rob Peter

Hi Peter,
Have you tried Adrian Morton of Mortons Coaches, he may be able to run buses / coaches from 'The Meadows' over that weekend. I know that he has provided vehicles for other events, sometimes a couple of his classic vehicles. My dad knows him but has no financial involvement, it may be worth mentioning Chris Spencer!! I know that BA are providing shuttles from the car park but wasn't sure if they were able to provide additional buses for a shuttle from the meadows. More work!!!!!!

Bryank..Your answer awaits!
Andys.. Thank you, an interesting suggestion. What would you anticipate would be the uptake in heads from "The Meadows"?

I have had a few people asking about public transport. Perhaps it would tie in with Blackwater station too so people could travel from Guildford/Reading direction. I would expect 1 coach shuttling back and forth from gate open time for a hour, and a hour after the flying would be sufficient. Rob

Rob It would give another method of transport - could bring in a number of people who would not be able to make it otherwise?

Travelling from The Meadows would be great as quite a few buses go through there... Kriss

BA A318 has been removed, replaced with B-17 sally-b. Turning out to be a good show for warbirds. Rob

"Sally B" is a great addition, but was looking forward to seeing an Airbus on the Blackbushe tarmac :-(
