Hi..
As we venture through strange times the need to stay in touch has never been greater, while the means to stay in touch gets better and better. Hence I've decided to throw open a Forum channel for all to use, to say "Hi", anything...(Within reason and that adheres to the Forum's rules..)...If you're lonely, worried, need help, maybe the common Blackbushe bond will come to the fore? We'll give it a couple of weeks and if no takers so be it.. at least the "One-Stop" Forum is thinking about you.
Meanwhile, hoping all our members and guests remain fully airworthy..

ZZ332 KC2 Voyager flew over Bristol at c17.30 yesterday en route Brize from Dakar - woke me up! Getting plenty of DIY time at moment - and spring cleaning. Incredible how life can change in a flash, I don't usually do the spring cleaning!

The Voyager fleet looks to be quite busy at the moment.
Watched one on ADS-B Exchange this morning as it launched from Brize, proceeded to a racetrack holding pattern north of the Cornwall coast, and was then joined by a couple of Typhoons, no doubt for some tanking practice.
One of the Voyager "surge fleet", recently returned from lease to Jet2 (where it and 2 others had been due to spend the Summer season) is now operating for Titan doing government-sponsored repatriation runs from Goa (India) into Stansted.
The VR's are a very interesting place at the moment - many unusual flights going on. Some examples from the last few hours/days: - an Icelandair 767-300 routing from Shanghai direct to Keflavik (presumably with medical supplies) - probably Icelandair's longest ever flight at around 12.5hrs - overnight an Air Tahiti Nui 787-9 routing from Papeete to Paris direct, in around 16.5hrs. - a few days ago a Lufthansa 747-400 in Christchurch, New Zealand, an Airport I don't think the airline has ever been to before. And one of their A380's in Auckland also. - Wizz Air sending a number of A321s on long runs to China. One also found it's way all the way to LAX the other day. - Virgin ran a Dreamliner to Shanghai the other day, carrying freight downstairs and upstairs on the return, with the crew for the return sleeping in the lie flats on the outbound leg. - this week Aer Lingus have been almost running a shuttle (up to 3 a day) of A330's on direct return flights between Dublin and Beijing.

Here in New Forest a beautiful day with no clouds. All day no aircraft in sky except a Fed Ex 777 routing from Memphis to Paris.

A few survey aircraft showing up on FR24 that are quite easy to see due to absence of traffic. Does this work fall within the 'necessary' definition? However, little other traffic makes the work less conflicting. I am not so sure about 'from the same household' aspect, any ideas?
I heard someone on the news this morning, I thought: the PM back on the job already? It was his dad, very similar voices.

How much time can one spend in the garden? Infinite amounts it would seem.. The sky just yielded a couple of EasyJet flights Bristol to Gatwick..few vapour trails eg AF to MEX and AZ about to cross the pond, even heard a Farnborough movement!

Very quiet in Bristol, very boring too. Just watched the 'Lavender Hill Mob', again. RAF Northolt, nearer to Ealing Studios than Blackbushe, features therein with Dak G-AGYX on display.
TF-AMA, 747, Air Atlanta Icelandic, eatboun, 370, NY- Liege, just flew over. Although in the right direction, SE, I did not get wind of the movement at Farnborough earlier. EGLF must be suffering.
'Hancock's Half Hour' was not so amusing! I hope the NHS and all volunteers get more than just an 'appropriate' bonus for their incredible dedication, in extremely trying and dangerous circumstances, on our behalf. Perhaps we should cherish our unique NHS much more - it is not a given that looks after itself. The military are also on the front line and at risk, but for them we are at war! It is Beverage we should thank, the NHS has focused National Unity - well for most of us!

FR24 lacking much entertainment at the mo. Several FedEx aircraft over UK. Yesterday's referral to 'Beverage' was not meant in the form of tincture - tho' that would help a lot - but Beveridge. I'm surprised I was not picked up on that. Must get myself a flight sim, PB's PC9 looks interesting. We maybe in lockdown for sometime, at least partially, until a cure or vaccine is found! Lovely day today, plenty of people about pounding the Bristol Downs, in twos etc.etc. If it rains for forty days and forty nights, we will have good practise in going in pairs!
G-WNCH B200 from Edinburgh, just landed at Fairoaks.
