You have worked very hard to produce this impressive static line-up to date Peter.

What about Rapide G-AGSH,it is in BEA colours and with Scillonia Airways you almost have a 1950's Airport. I believe it lives at Bournemouth Airport.

Great suggestions guys... Somebody mentioned Dave Hill and the Popham marshallers before I went away. Please remind me of the details, Dave was a great Farnborough Week marshaller and we need his expertise amid the whirling props. The Gazelle Sqn has been contacted by one of our Forum members and I await news..The AN-2 would be welcome. We coaxed one in for the 50th. Wish I could remember the details, but it arrived with a couple of biplanes acting as escorts. Any contact info re the AN? The Mig 15 would be a pipe dream, a large round pipe from which the noisy stuff emits..I've sounded out various jets but must tread carefully. Any contact detail re the MIG??? No doubt I can find out but any knowledge amid the Forum team would be appreciated. The sad news is that we have picked the one weekend when the RAF BBMF are on stand down. They were coming, but have had to scrub..they are otherwise working every weekend with hardly a break. Can't win 'em all. Rapide already coming for pleasure flights. G-AHAG. Be good to have GSH here too.. Appreciate Filairs suggestion that the entry fee could be higher. Much thought went into this and I agree a fiver is not a lot. But, with no flying display we considered how many tickets we'd need to sell to cover costs and make some money for Aerobility. This goes back many meetings ago. The Air Day is somewhat experimental and hopefully providing a learning curve toward next year's 75th Anniversary. Ideas are formulating!! But let's get July buttoned up first... Anyway, if you can answer any of the above questions I'd be grateful. PB PS Just found the AN contact details..thanks Rob.

I think you may be thinking of Dave Walker of Popham marshaling team, his email is planedave2@yahoo.co.uk . Have contacted An-2 guys via twitter. Sadly the last weekend in July is alsys rest weekend for the RAF guys as they spend every August weekend at shows. Will ahve to try a new weekend next year if we want to have anything RAF flying? Last weekend of June would be good, as it is also Goodwood and plenty of aircraft will be transiting out area en route. Rob

Have been banging the drum on various forums, facebook and twitter. Website could do with more info on it. Have been asked what non aircraft stuff there is for the family? Can I volunteer to do the social media for the 75th anniversary show? Rob

I've tweeted Graham from the AN2 team and the only way they could possibly take the AN2 there would be to get a team of people together to pay for the flight, if i remember it would cost roughly £750 (not sure if that was both way though).
