Many people have agreed how an aeroplane that once graced Blackbushe Airport during the fifties would be an excellent tribute to the independent airlines who pioneered freedom of the airways laying a pathway to the very large numbers of passengers flying aboard the non-state commercial airlines of today. The "Viking Project" was launched in the latter months of 2021 'staffed' by four people who equally shared the wish to see the one surviving Vickers Viking rescued from Austria and brought home to Blackbushe where she was based from 1954 through to 1959. G-AGRW offers a very challenging project, but one that is not impossible. Today, a new Facebook Group was launched on behalf of G-AGRW. Please check it out and sign up to join the membership, you'll be very welcome!! Otherwise, news as to our progress with the aircraft will regularly be updated here! www.facebook.com/groups/696644645033238
