07/04/21 Today's AVweb reports include a further step toward electric powered flight for tomorrow... Lilium Reveals Seven-Seat eVTOL, Plans To Go PublicAir taxi developer Lilium unveiled a seven-seat version of its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft on Friday. Aimed at the regional shuttle segment, the “7-Seater Lilium Jet” is expected to cruise at 175 MPH with a range of around 155 miles. Lilium, which has flown two- and five-seat versions of its eVTOL, reports that it received a CRI-A01 certification basis from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the seven-seat model last year.
Lilium also announced plans to go public via a merger with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Qell Acquisition Corp. Qell is led by former president of General Motors North America Barry Engle, who will be joining Lilium’s Board. As previously reported by AVweb, Lilium is planning to build a network of up to 14 vertiports for an eVTOL-based air taxi service in Florida with the goal of launching commercial operations in 2024.
“We’re incredibly excited to reveal the development of our 7-Seater Lilium Jet and announce the next stage of our growth,” said Lilium co-founder and CEO Daniel Wiegand. “This is a validation of all the hard work over the last five years from our talented team and our world-class partners and investors.”

Well, I'm being honest and I'm totally pro the new Electric Age, I can't wait to breathe better air (even tho I am a smoker so it is somehow weird being said by me). I'm glad the rest of Europe (geographic Europe, I don't care much about "fractal economical borders") is moving towards the change in such a natural manner. As always nordic countries have made better steps way before us, but that's something that has to do with their actual advantage of a better overall wealth and more focus on environmental impact since...forever. What makes me sad is seeing the lack of infrastructures here in Italy, and when they are present the cost is way worse than the gasoline / diesel counterpart. As a nerdy guy I'm dreaming of a Tesla Model3 since the day it was announced, and that's gonna be my best buy if I get a stable contract here. It's not "fashion". It's common sense and i really feel sorry for who doesn't understand. I'm not a radicalism fan, so I know that every change has to be made keeping in consideration all factors, but I also know that a lot of faking is happening in the news around the web and on paper just to criticize Electric vehicles and keep the Oil MoneyMaker going on. Unfortunately that is not just a conspiracy theorie. This was forseen ages before electric vehicles were a thing. Oil moves the big part of the World Economy by now and it was impossible that the companies would have had let go their business or changed focus from one day to another. but I really hope the change is gonna happen anytime soon, and with the due caution (I'm really afraid of Electric Vehicles silence...this has to be worked around). Electric is the future, if we still want to have one future. Otherwise I'm sure we won't be able to see the Sun turn into a supergiant from a different place anyways

Oh and just saying, this vehicle looks a lot like a ship from a game I play most of times (which is also developed by a British, and in Britain. And as far as now is the best Spaceship and galactic society simulator you can find with a 1:1 scale milky way) See yourself 😂
