Stuart Marshal, so long a part of Blackbushe life and Airport Manager during the Arnold and BCA eras, has been hospitalised for the past weeks and been 'very unwell'. Stuart was the "co-administrator" of our Blackbushe Forum and has added various articles and reports within.. Happily he is now well enough to have been moved from Frimley Park to a quieter hospital (Fleet Community Hospital) for his continued care and rehabilitation.
The kind good wishes extended by our members have been passed onto Stuart via his wife Sandra who has been keeping me up to date on progress.
Further updates will be added to this report, but if you would care to add further good wishes to Stuart below they will be seen, so please feel free to add your good wishes and regards.
Thank you, on behalf of Stuart, for the good wishes so far expressed.

I would like to wish Stuart best wishes for a speedy recovery. I have known Stuart since his days with Doug Arnold at Fairoaks. With my interest in keeping Fairoaks Flying I have had a number of chats on the telephone including of course a lot of reminiscing about the “good old times” at Fairoaks and Blackbushe. The last time I spoke to him not so long ago was about the fire cover required for an airfield like Fairoaks and he was one of the first FISO and maybe the first. I am in regular contact with Robin McKay who was the Airport Manager at Fairoaks when Stuart was there and I am sure he would like to wish Stuart a speedy recovery as he often mentions how busy Fairoaks was when when Stuart was in the tower. Also please send my regards to Sandra.
