Those of us who wrote to Hamsphire Coubty Council supporting Blackbushe Airport's Application to de-register a portion of the site's Common Land will have received a communcation from Hampshire County Council confirming, as is their obligation, that the matter has now been transferred to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) to determine the outcome.
The details are in HCC's letter, but it would seem that two common rights holders have submitted objections. These persons are deemed to have a legal interest in the process, as such the County must refer the case to PINS.
All correspondence in this matter should now be addressed to the Common Land Casework Team in Bristol as the letter implies..
This is all part of the ongoing process, a final decision could take several months to achieve.
Blackbushe has moved another step nearer a momentus decision....

Yes I received the email a few days ago PB.
Wouldn't we love to know who these "common rights holders" are and the details of their objections ;-)
As you say, it's a waiting game now.

Fingers crossed, rabbits feet, four leaf clovers, hang up a horse shoe..choose your weapons. There is always the possibility of a further Public Inquiry. A touch of anti Brexiteers who didn't like the result first time around...? Nothing definite, but it might come to that or so I am reliably informed. Any futher heads up on the situation will be reported here...
