b170 it nice to hear that avioligist was at the bushe the day the seahawk dropped in,it was very spectacular from where tom boulter took the photos,perhaps peter could dig out the photos and the one of the evening standard dragonfly that took the film up to battersea helyport and the photos were in that evenings paper

Todays' photos are from the time when I was a regular visitor. I dread to think how many times I pushed/rode my bike across the wide open spaces between the hangar and the terminal building.

Hi Eric,
By chance I changed the header photo yesterday, Dan-Air have taken the spot for a couple of days. But yes, the photo was the final fly-past as your good self, Harold and co departed Blackbushe for the new DC-6 service to Farnborough.
Always good to hear from you Eric, trust all is good in the engineering hangar?

Today's header is a rarity. There must be hundreds of pics of the Comet on the ground but not so many full flapped and on the verge of touchdown. I assume it's DA's RR at the rear?
