Aerobility are hosting an event this year on June 2nd their is an event where their is interesting visiting aircrafts, a bbq fancy dress live band and more. Then followed by a walk, wheelchair push around the runway upto 1am.
Can we have more information about this also is this open to all, and can we help promote this event?

Here's the online info you're looking for... moonlight-challenge.aerobility.com/"We're looking for runners, walkers and wheelchair users to join us in a moonlight 25 km run, wheel or walk around Blackbushe Airfield on the evening of Saturday 2nd June to fundraise for Aerobility. You may enter either as an individual for the full distance or as a team of 5, sharing the distance amongst you. You don’t need to personally know someone taking part in order to donate and support our unique disabled flying charity."PB

Hi Neil.. I'm sure all our members and guests will join me in wishing you a speedy recovery, and hope that things are not too painful...and the 'sack of spuds' feeling is soon left behind. Your spirit and positive attitude is great and very much reflects those who Aerobility take to the skies.. Do give Gail a call on the number given ealier, meanwhile perhaps our forum members could show their mettle and form a team to take part in the forthcoming Moonlight challenge!
Wishing you well Neil! Peter

Thank you for your encouragement!
It would be great if a forum team could take part in this event. I’m indeed very keen to take part in a team on the evening.
Thank you
Neil

The aim of the Moonlight mission is to raise finance for Aerobility, the great Blackbushe based charity who do so much for our injured service personnel and handicapped flyers.. You just need to see their smiles to taste the value of Aerobility's work.
You will have seen the links provided to assess what is needed prior to participating, it's called sponsorship. Teams can enter and do the distance 'relay' style, no need to run/walk a marathon!! Fun and aeroplanes to start the evening, and Neil's idea of a Forum Team is perfect..
Could I suggest that Neil takes on the role of Team Captain and our members who wish to participate and help Blackbushe's famous charity place their names here...?
A chance for the Forum to make a name for itself......
Any takers???

Having seen Aerobility's call to action on Facebook last week I was planning on signing up; there's just a little uncertainty for me at the moment re the date, but that should be cleared up one way or the other v soon. So, assuming that turns out OK, I'll be walking!
