Wonder what an 'open ended hanger' is; anything like a hangar I wonder? Course a barrister could argue that a spelling mistake like that renders the whole document in-valid, but then I'm not a barrister.

Interesting , what happened to the 'de-commoning' request? The old market car park would make a great ramp with some hangars!

The deregistration application has now moved to the Government's Planning Inspectorate following Hampshire County Council's inability to make a decision.
British Car Auctions are, to my understanding, pursuing their own application to deregister that part of the Common of which they are now the masters.
As RJ says, the old market area would be a great place for new hangars - not to mention a new terminal. BUT, the used motor business people own it, sadly there is little hope of its return to being airfield property.
The Planning Inspectorate have stated that the Blackbushe 'airport' application will probably be finally considered in early 2019. Between now and that distant date there will be various'hearings' if that's the right word where the bones of the Airport's application will be carefully considered - and hopefully give the result we all hope for. I assume "all" is an accurate conclusion, there are parties who hold varying opinions on the Blackbushe matter...
I will certainly be making whatever supportive sounds I can before the Parliamentary members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on General Aviation.
