Hi you could be right but I wonder if they would have been popular apparently flying near a hospital if not visiting ? It hadnt occurred to me to eliminate slugs at 0400; I will give it a try. Do you shine bright lights in their eyes to blind them and shoot them like rabbits ? I find a pair of scissors is sufficient; they find it difficult to run away when they're in 2 pieces although at my previous home, I had a Daisy repeating airgun with which I used to despatch them. Wish I had a hedgehog; never see those round here that's why the slugs are so prolific.

On my stay last year at FPH Bill and Graham advised on visiting me they potted a heli on the roof.... ! Unfortunately at the time I was still in a coma 😟
