After 27 years working at Blackbushe, Jamie has now moved on to pastures new...
We wish him the best of luck in his new life, he will long be remembered for being a regular voice behind 122.3.
Good luck Jamie, thanks for all your help over the years.
Take care Peter

Good grief, the Tower and the Airfield as a whole will not be the same without those dulcit (west-country) tones.
Happy memories of time spent talking aeroplanes (sometimes over a beer or five in the bar, back in the "European Flyers" days!) and talking to him on 122.3 in my flying days.
Hopefully he's going to carry-on doing something in the industry?
All the best Jamie.

What's he doing next - brain surgery? rocket science?

Have been in touch with the man himself, and he tells me his last day at EGLK is this Tuesday.
He has told me what his next job is, and it is aviation/air traffic-related, but I'll let him share the details if he wants to.
He's also hoping he hasn't made his last working visit to the tower at The 'Bushe.
