This is around the era that I first started visiting the 'Bushe - brings back memories of trips on my bike from Crowthorne as a teenager.
Thanks for posting them.

Sad to see the 2 pictures of Proctor G-AHBD. This is the a/c I witnessed being started and then taxy down to the old hangers for the final time in 1974. Presumably the engine and instruments were removed before the airframe was broken up and dumped near the go kart track.

controller, Can I just draw attention to your fantastic photograph (the one above the C310 above). I don't recall seeing a photograph of this Stuka conversion before. Converted by Maurice Robinson (I think ) from, was it a Proctor, for use on a film set and destined not to fly? No doubt Peter will be able to put flesh on the bones of the story. Probably Maurice at the controls and is that Rex Coates standing behind the cranked wing ? Stuart I understand the Stukas in '633 Squadron' filmed mostly at Bovingdon c 1966/67 were converted Proctors; could they have been the same ones? I don't recall them at Bovingdon but there were 12 Mosquitos there of which only 4 were flyable.
