Wish you luck Poswolf...The latest generations of cubs may know more about some things than their elders, but are they any happier than their elders were years ago? But that's leading way off the mandates of this forum!!

Hi Poswolf re pics not available
there are a couple I have posted that have gone missing reason is the pics were 40 years and I tried to adjust the brightness and contrast there is a program that allows you to do that, I was able to get a sharper pic, you then save it this automatically removes the original pic then you have to re post the new pic (I think) which I havn't done yet,not too good with computers so posting is a bit hit and miss. hope this helps regards Eddie

Eddie... you always keep the original and then save the edited pic under a different name. If the programme is any good there should be an option to "Save" and an option to "Save as". You use the latter to save the edited version.

Once you change the original Photo posted in the hosting site ( photobucket, flickr etc), which could be anything from Changing the name, to moving to another album Or reediting the shot the file name associated with that photo changes, the forum is still Looking for the old file name which no longer exists, so just repost the new IMG code on the retouched, move or changes photo
Hope that helps :-)

Ikarusc42, Thanks for the memories. I remember G-ATHK but I don't remember G-AXHR -was it home-based? Stuart

[[ Hi A30... You're right about the Monarch and the Proctor having similar appearances. Having flown in both I would say that the Monarch is a more relaxed aeroplane, she kinda purred along while the Proctor was a beefier affair. Love 'em both! Yes, I met the AVM. ]] Re DCT Bennett.....Came across this photo of Don Bennett at the Ferry Command re-union 1980 www.donnamcvicarkazo.com/aviationgallery.html
