OK, here are a couple of mine from last week, sorry it's taken a few days; I was thrown straight back into my very busy workplace on Monday and am only just catching up. I do edit my photos, or take abstract and close-up shots, so they may not be to the purists taste, but they're still aircraft or aviation inspired, and that's good enough for me! As it happens, Sony don't yet produce an affordable long lens that'll fit my camera, so I can't get any good shots of anything flying anyway... P51 Tall In The Saddle, but you don't need me to tell you that, do you? BAs time-expired RB211 - the front end... ...and the hot end.

Funnily enough nostagia has yet to set in from my point of view.. The 75th was very much a 'one-off' although there were rumblings about something in the future. Let's say for now there has been dialogue regarding this year, nothing decided and nothing like the 75th, no public events are anticipated for a while. Priority lies with concentration on the airfield's future, without that we're all sunk!
Display flying is pretty much ruled out as the CAA's measures take effect, parking is an issue, as are the many H&S constraints imposed by our new risk averse world.. Beyond that I agree an alternate to Farnborough in the area is needed to maintain air awareness, especially as other local airfields have residential planning threats to their future hopes..Blackbushe is perfectly located, it's just the "buts" that get bigger.. IF this summer is to see any 'events' the forum will keep you posted..but don't get excited.
