For some reason I cannot access the Air Show page. However, Google provides info including the fact that the Catalina may appear! That would really make my day but I bet they won't be doing trips for £30, which is what Ruth and I paid for a ride in the NZ Cat.

As has been said before by PB they are keeping things quiet until everything is in place. However, the following are in the public domain, listed on either the show website or on the act's website. It is quite normal that the acts announce before the show does, Farnborough does it every time. Even with this little lot it's looking to be an interesting celebration of 75 years of aviation at Blackbushe.
Norwegian Spitfire Foundation P-51 G-SHWN Catalina-Plane Sailing OV-10 Bronco-Bronco Demo team Great War Display Team (presumably from a nearby airfield as IIRC they need grass?) Army Historic Flight BBMF (Hurricane, Spitfire, and Lancaster if finished by then?) RAF Falcons parachute team (although not on their website?) DH Rapide G-AHAG pleasure flights Vintage Gliders from Gliding Heritage Center Lasham

After many months of work dedicated to putting together our event designed to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Blackbushe Airport I can say that the new website will be online soon.
The delays are much regretted, and as correctly stated by RJ above, I have had no alternative than to hold back on details owing to the times we live in as the CAA's new rules and regulations have to be strictly applied. Each airfield hoping to hold air shows in the United Kingdom has no option other to fall in line with the new limitations, Blackbushe offers its own peculiar limitations that will effect what we are able to do.
A final meeting is being held this Friday where the exact limitations will be spelled out as to each of our prospective participants. If aircraft cannot display in the air they will part of our static display. This is why I have had no option other than to hold back on information, the last thing I want to do is make proclamations of great things and then let you down.
The list 'leaked' above is partially correct as to aircraft that will be appearing. My hope and dreams of the Blackbushe 75th will have to suffer restriction so far as display flying is concerned. However, we have a great weekend lined up featuring many aircraft and entertainment to mark the birthday of our airfield. I have fought tooth and nail to provide the weekend that I know you would all wish to see, we will have the nearest we can get to that ideal...
As I say, the new website will be rolled out next week, again until I can give definitive and accurate news it has been necessary to sit tight on the details. You'll never know the cost in lost sleep that has been invested to date, I'm sure years will have been knocked off my life as a result.... More dreaded heart tests next week at the Royal Surrey.
Sadly, life in 2017 offers nowhere near the air display freedom enjoyed in 1977 for example, when one grabbed aeroplanes from the smallest to the 747 and flew 'em with total legality and safety. We're going to do the very best that we can, I trust one and all will appreciate that and the effort that has been required to bring an event at all!! British air displays will hopefully remain the incredibly safe affairs they have proven to be over the years, let us hope that British air displays will continue to be held at all in the future?
Thank you, look out for the uprated website in around a week's time..
Appreciate your understanding and patience...
PB
