Does PB own a chainsaw LOL! So refreshing that the common is finally being managed after 50 years of being allowed to run out of control. Mind you I hope they are looking out for endangered worms and other minute creatures!

They seek him here..they seek him there..they seek him everywhere, including Aerobility this morning. Well spotted tower, guess there wasn't much else to see at 09.30?
Yes, I was greeted on stepping out of my car this morning to a fog shrouded apron, (Blackbushe foggy!!!! Soon cleared, didn't it?), and yes a chainsaw symphony was in full swing. What a welcome!! If ever music was to be heard!!! How very nice it would be to look east from Blackbushe once more and see something. Broadmoor's buildings are easily ( were easily) seen on a clear day, not to mention TFC from that other London Airport near Hounslow West tube station, the Bagshot mast was a feature too many years ago before the Common scrub took over.
Today's meeting at London Blackbushe very productive so far as the 75th is concerned... patience chaps. I'll be sneaking around again tomorrow!!
Cheers "PB"

Dont let the wood from the felled trees go to waste. If any member has the skill make benches and sell them on PB's day as genudne mementos of blackbushe past. Make sure the Dartford warblers have flown first Or PB could make small model Vikings perhaps ?

Good to read that you're out and about PB - everything was ok with the weekend checks then?

Morning "Ex"...Thank you for asking kind Sir!
To keep it brief it looks like I'll be around until 1st July...maybe even longer! I've got some other test to look forward to that is "less invasive" it being decided that Saturday's operation carried more risk than necessary considering how active I am - the speedy walks around the disused acres of some airfield proving that the clockwork is in pretty good shape. But, you never know so I'm gonna be shock tested. You know, somebody tells you, "The trees on the common have all been felled", and then they measure the blood flow through all the hearts components..something like that.
Thanks for your concern "Ex", I'll mark you down for special duties in July as your reward!!! P
