any truth in the rumour that a semi permanent filming faciity is to be established on the end of the cross runray where it has been done before ? if so the company will doubtless consider itself lucky to have, in the members of this forum, a a readily available pool of handsome and distinguished extras.

A noble gesture dear Poswolf! For a better looking pool of perfectly formed humanity any local movie moguls need look no further than the pages of the "One-Stop" Forum.
Unfortunately external adversity has taken the upper hand once more, the lesser spotted mottled spikey backed glow worms (the ones with pink spots that we all often see) have protested. A big movie sequence has fallen through as a result. Suggest you put the make-up away until next time...that is if the glow worms don't object. Naturally, this is England..
What happens to these creatures habitats when big money and GRAVEL come hand in hand? Crash, bang wallop...oops sorreee £££££

I wonder if such concerns are being voiced around other "brownfield" sites (which are actually quite green, as airfields tend to be) that are to be turned into "garden villages"?
Perhaps I'm now living in an asylum, and hadn't realised, as the lunatics really do seem to be taking over :-(
