Just chatting with a lady passing through the churchyard today and mentioned that my Ruth had been in the WRAF. The lady's father had flown Lancs during the war and later became an ATCO at Blackbushe. I believe his name is John Cooper. If anyone would like any info from him, let me know.
Brings back a story.....the Deputy SATCO at London Airport when I started was chatting with one of the admin ladies one day and she asked what he did in the war. "I flew Lancasters.........what did you do?" "i was in the Hitler Youth" I don't think they spoke again!!

Good to see some vintage ATCO's are still around from that period. Would be interested to know if he has any memories of Farnborough weeks of the 50's, any strange movements or any funny stories? Of course any photos would be a big bonus.
