Thanks, we brought it off! Just got home after 15,000 steps with very tired feet. Lessons have been learnt and it would be great to do it again next year. PB seemed to enjoy his flight in the Provost and I had great fun in the Rapide. I need a beer.

What a great day, interesting I was on car park duty in the afternoon and the visitors were leaving with a smile and a wave, so they were HAPPY. Well done to all involved, we must have got most things right!

Catching up with myself after the Air Day...
Your very kind words suggest the Air Day team pulled a great result out of the hat, and it was very much a team effort. Experimental in the extreme running an air event without an air show and more than a few hurdles to jump from a logistics point of view.
Thanks must be aimed at our brilliant volunteer force who performed valiantly not to mention the Air Day team who spent many hours locked in conference!!
My thoughts are now focused on 2017. Ideas, mistakes, experience gained will all be employed in what I hope will be the best possible 75th birthday present for Blackbushe. Already crossed some major bridges...many more ahead.
Thank you again, please come back next year!!!
