A fly-in with extras, much more detail will be published soon.. Hopefully, the Air Day will become an annual event. There will be no display flying this year, but this may be the first step toward greater things in the future. The prime objective, apart from holding a long overdue aviation event at Blackbushe, is to raise funds for our charity, Aerobility. As many will know, Aerobility do so much incredible work for the injured and disabled by helping them reach for the sky. The pure joy of flight and the satisfaction, self discovery and self achievement by so many of the Aerobility fliers is testament to our intent on supporting them via the Blackbushe Air Day and helping others finding their fulfillment in flight.
Meanwhile we are keen to build our list of volunteer helpers. Please, if you would like to get involved come the day and be a part of the action add your name by replying to this thread... We still have much to do, but will provide more detail here in the near future.
Thank you in advance...

Hi Neil
Many thanks, we'll be needing lots of help that's for sure.
Much nearer the time we'll hold a briefing session with the duties to be allocated. Should be fun, but anything to do with airside activity has a serious side to it. Much more to come, but for now my grateful thanks for your offer..
Peter

Hi Neil18. Many thanks for your note which is highly appreciated!!
The duties will be many and varied and will somewhat depend on our volunteers' experience. Airside aircraft handling, crowd control/guidance, some money taking... There is still an awful lot to do from the organising end of the operation, but I plan to have a volunteers gathering or two well before the day. At that point we can see who wishes to do what, or what they are able to take on..
Watch this space..
Thanks PB

N542AP discussed yesterday in our discussions as a great static park prospect, will be followed up. Agree that G-TATR is exactly what fly-ins are about. I note ref to JC, but the only JC I know was written about in the 'good book'... If you have any contact details perhaps you could PM to me, unless you already enjoy a relationship with those involved???
Any help gratefully received!!
Thanks P
