Blackbushe Airport - BCA no longer involved!

This week has seen a step forward in respect of who runs the EGLK business..

Following Blink's acquisition of Blackbushe Airport the day to day 'business' of operating the airfield subsequently remained in the hands of BCA. That is no longer the case, from this week Blackbushe is 100% owned and run by Blink and their associated companies. For the first time since its closure in 1960, Blackbushe is owned and run by an aviation company and aircraft operator, BCA can now concentrate on selling cars having removed the weight of running the airfield from their shoulders.

That is all I can say.

A statement from the airfield management...

“At the end of October 2015, British Car Auctions Ltd sold their interests in Blackbushe Airport Ltd to a private investor group. The day to day operation of the airfield will continue unchanged.”
