Does anyone have any recollections of a Beagle Terrier that was based at Blackbushe in the early seventies. It was G-ASCD and in the spring of 1971 I flew it on my first ever cross channel flight. Along with some other Blackbushe regulars(possibly Jack Smith, Rex Coates, John Ramshaw[G-AKBO]) I went to an air rally at Amougies in Belgium. I recall on another occasion I went to Bembridge where I stayed overnight and slept in the back of it! If anyone has a photograph of it - even better.

I'll keep your Terrier in mind and will take a look in the vaults... I flew in KBO a number of times and well remember Channel crossigs by Terrier courtesy of the Airways Flying Club at Booker. Berck Sur Mer was a popular destination, great fun flying over with a number of other aircraft followed by excellent social unwinding on the 'other side'...Rex Coates in the front left seat while I enjoyed space in the back seat snapping the proceedings in beautiful monochrome comes to mind from one of such trips. In rough weather the French coast sliding beneath was always reassuring!
