A new category has been opened elsewhere on the forum dedicated to the 2017 75th Anniversary....July 1st & 2nd. That section will eventually carry news and updates as to the event, but for now it's just a diary advice. Serious challenges lie ahead, and my head is once again subject to the chopping board if I - and the team - don't extract digit and show what we can do! The "75th" must not just be good, it's got to be brilliant.. This time our event is strictly under the control of the Airport owners from where the 75th is being generously underwritten. A small committee is currently forging ahead with the initial planning, additional personnel will be co-opted as the need for different expertise arises. I think it's safe to say we've started a significant ripple in the Blackbushe calendar, an aviation 'event' of some kind looks like becoming an annual happening! Hopefully our team of dedicated volunteers have recovered from this year's do, I think we'll be knocking on your door before too long!! Perhaps we could convene at the airfield nearer the end of the year for a chat and update on 2017? That's all for now... PB

Wow, 75 is a big number. But there are many holidays in july, not only in first and second. How to try to don't overdrink? So, it seems I need to train my liver.
