From memory, as I was in the fire engine, it was three takes. On the first we arrived to soon, on the second we ran out of water and the third was just right!

PB "Girl on a Motorcycle" filmed on the N.W peri track which represented a motorway with big crash scene. Marianne (double) went through a car windscreen when the motorcycle she was riding hit a car - the car then burst into flames. Airport fire engine failed to put it out! Car was wanted for a retake -lots of red faces including mine! Stuart. Motorcycle racer and ex World Champion 125cc rider Bill Ivy (who had long blonde hair) doubled for Marianne in the riding sequences but I don't know who went through the windscreen; Bill was later killed in 1969 when the engine of his bike seized without warning whilst practicing for a race catapulting him into a fence post.

For anyone interested the first film in Peters list from 1951 NO HIGHWAY IN THE SKY is on Talking Pictures (Freeview 81) Saturday 19/01/19 16.00
I have not seen the film yet but it involves an aircraft named the RUTLAND REINDEER (It's apparently Halton G-AHDM +lots of make-up.)
