Have tonnes of photos from the 80's onwards that I keep meaning to copy and put on here. Don't currently have a photo scanner so tried copying them with a digial camera as a experiment....

Ok I have a new scanner, and many photos to scan. They are in no real order But I will add some info. These were mostly taken in the 80's and 90's. I will have loads more when I get hold of my dads photos.


Just had to start with a Farnborough week classic on the north side. For those who did not experience those weeks, even in the 80's and 90's it was a real treat. A manic couple of hours as aircraft dropped thair pax at the terminal before parking on the northside. Here is F-GGPR Beech 200 I believe at Farnborough week 1992?, this was win France from 88-2010 and is now in Portugal


G-BIZZ Citation 500 seen here with abusy ramp c1986, now operating in Sweden


OO-ESB PA-28 arrived with more Farnborough week visitors on 8/9/88, the aircraft was wfu in 1991 and sold for spares after the operator went bust.


Cessna T303 OO-PEN on 5/9/84, probably the first 303 to visit the bushe? A type that was never a regular



finally the ill fated VP-BBK Beech 200 that was written off 23/12/2000 after departing the airport in fog and crashing to the north of the airport in fog with several fatalities.

A couple of Military visitors
240 Beech 200 of the Irish Air Corps, not sure of the date but probably c1998 Farnborough week judging by the German Citation. This aircarft is still in service!


DU155 Eurocopter EC-155 seen arriving on 13/08/2000, now G-CEOJ


D-EEJH Mooney parked on the old N/S runway 27/7/2000, now on the Hungarian register since 2011


D-IVIN Cessna 525 first seen by me at Blackbushe 31/03/1998, now resident in Austria

D-IMHW Cessna 340, pictured before the foliage behind the ramp was culled on 6/9/1996, and still current.


Mu-2 OY-BIS, the lovely mootwo sadly never really sold that well in Europe outside a few in Scandanavia, Germany and France. Pictured here 9/9/94. This aircraft worked it way through Sweden, Denmark and Norway before going to the US and beong W/O in 2003.


Another rare type was the SA226 Merlin, here is OY-BPM operated by Cimber air seen in the early 90's, still current in the USA.

N2683Y Cessna 421 parked by the A30, this was UK based and seen during September 2000


F-GGLA BE200 a regular 'Farnborough week' visitors through the 90's and 2000's, was French registered 1988-2012
