I might be far away but the scent of speculation is still detectable.... You may think it's been heard before but be assured there are significant actions going on behind the scenes. Of that I can assure you. Patience remains a virtue with Blackbushe but hopefully the need for speculation concerning the airfields future will be significantly reduced before too much longer. Meanwhile....no doubt the scent of speculation will remain in the air? Regards PB

Glad you are back PB. Can't see anything negative happening over the airports future. I think too much time and money have been spent for 'Blinkbushe' to do anything to jepordize that investment. Rob

Hi Rob...you're right about Blackbushe, but wrong about me..currently in Springfield, USA. Not staying with Bart Simpson but should be back in UK in a week or so. Time to get serious about the 75th providing certain issues have been taken care of. I've asked the airport to remove the Air Day info from their website..... Somewhat past its sell by date..Hopefully we can soon have something to replace it? Look forward to catching up in the near future.. As ever Peter

I hope you have more luck than me! I've emailed them several times about various matters but never a reply. They strike me as being a Fred Karno outfit!

Thanks. You're comments noted and appreciated by all concerned. For your information the airport have asked their website provider to remove the Air Day info numerous times, however, at the moment there are far more pressing issues at stake. I'm now resuming my vacation....

I am looking forward to the result of the goings on at the Bushe. What is a little concerning, however, is the parlous state of sterling and euro vis-a-vis the dollar - not many green backs to the pound these days! If I recall correctly, Laker entered administrative receivership in 1982 caused, inter alia, to a massive, I think £18m, loss on foreign exchange due the fall of sterling against the dollar. Uncertain times ahead: caveat emptor!
