My pleasure Rocky!
Unless anybody else has contacts I've pretty much done all I can do re a C130. Not a lot, as nobody answers the phone at BN as its been a trip from one number to another... Been rather nice to park one on the apron? The Red Arrows managed to catch up with an A400 over the weekend...wouldn't say no to one of those either!! Still, I think it's generally coming together, even without the RAF. ( I know the display teams are stood down over 30 July..)

Looking good Peter, Anson is a very good addition, a proper Blackbushe aircraft! Im assuming that Boultbee are no longer attending? Rob

Boultbee are a wild card at the moment Rob..Hopefully tomorrow's big Air Day meeting will throw light in that direction. As you say, the Annie is a true Blackbushe aircraft.... Long ago.....and in the future!!Farnborough Week in the fifties was Anson heaven at Blackbushe with RAF communications flights rumbling in and out....Must say I felt a tear brewing when I got the message today, makes it all worthwhile to have a brief encounter with yesterday... She'll be flown by an F-35 test and development pilot on 30/7. PB

Hi Rob..
NO sir. Two pilot operation, only one pilot...I won't say how disappointed I am.
It's a fluid situation when you're out here with begging bowl in hand asking someone if they could, "Spare a 'plane Guv?". Still quite pleased with what we've collared to date, just hope we can cling on to 'em!! Actually, not quite true as quantities of fuel are involved in some cases... Sponsors always welcome, we have one such in our membership who has put hand deep into pocket and secured a participant - absolutely no names.

Thanks Peter, just wondered. You are doing a brilliant job anyway. Dare I say the weather forecast look ok at the moment!

The Dash 7 would have been great shelter if (a) it had pee'd down with rain, or (b) if we had wall to wall sunshine..
NO ROB - YOU MAY NOT MENTION WEATHER FOR 31/7....
So does it look good? Oh, well....you said it Rob, you are now responsible for weather, come what may... Brave man!!!!
Tell you what, I'll have another go at the Dash 7. Unless the situation has changed nothing will happen, but having it squatting at Duxford is grossly unjust!
