The North American A2J Savage used to visit Blackbushe from Morocco via Manston in the mid 1950s often combined with a practice bombing run over the London range at the old Heston airport.Perhaps the crews of these in September 1955 also got to see the Farnborough show? Attachments:

Parked on runway 01/19, north of the main runway. Hard to believe when you walk down its crumbling remains with trees and weeds pushing through..

Wasn't Argus N9996F owned by a Pan Am pilot?....Blackbushe 1955 but also seen at Heathrow 1955 also(Farnborough week?)... must have been one of the first Cessna 310s in Europe
