Last time I landed at BB the airfield was suffering and needed attention. Many years later it is no longer the 'Wall Flower' but 'The Belle of The Ball'. A well deserved award in my 'umble opinion. Congratulations!

I drove past the airport recently, for the first time in nearly 20 years. I was quite amazed by the activity there, the numbers of aircraft, the new mini-hangars. Very impressive.
Well done.

"Welcome back!". A most interesting assessment of the airfield's current status. The trickle of changes has been slow, gradual, and to folk who frequent Blackbushe more than once in 20 years the changes have been less obvious perhaps! But, I agree, the then & now comparison must be very significant. Leave it less than 20 years before your next drive-by and you will see changes that will perhaps make you wonder which airport it is you're passing... Hopefully, next time you won't drive past but will stop and savour the atmosphere of optimism that has now taken up residence upon Blackbushe Airport's green and pleasant land..
Thanks for your valued comment!!
