www.flyer.co.uk/class-d-airspace-approved-for-farnborough/British Gliding condemns CAA decision over Farnborough Class D airspace decision.. Flyer magazine report www.flyer.co.uk/british-gliding-condemns-caa-decision-over-farnborough-airspace/Will this air space take-over make air safety better, or will it make things worse? These changes are for the benefit of a minority of airspace users..taking into account the total number of GA movements in and around the Farnborough 'zone'...GA has enjoyed this airspace for decades, is this a case of a power invested organisation riding rough shod over the fraternity for whom these skies have been home for so long? We hear too often of cases where the purchasers of houses near airfields who do not like the aviation neighbour they have chosen to live near taking steps to get rid of the aviators, now its aviation moving in and trying to squash the freedom of fellow aviators and their long term air space useage... Opinions? PB
