As ever this information is not complete as the official records do not seem to have survived. Movements have been sourced from spotters logs and aircrew logbooks. This installment covers military trainers, light transport and observation aircraft.
The good old 'oxbox' was used by the RAF in their hundreds. Over 8000 were built and the mostly served as twin engine crew trainers and as transport hacks. there were less numerous than the Anson as they were not developed post war.

The Auster was used by both the RAF, and later on by the new Army Air Corps. These aircraft were regulars at Blackbushe due to the location of the many local Army establishments. The AAC continued to use the airport until the 1980's.
